When âge announced Muv-Luv Integrate, the sequel to the ultra-popular visual novel Muv-Luv Alternative, many fans wondered who could fill the role of the protagonist.
Those who have played Alternative will likely be aware of the reason behind this question, and Twinfinite quizzed the series’ creator Kouki Yoshimune during an interview in Tokyo.
Yoshimune-san confirmed that Integrate will have a completely new protagonist that fans haven’t met before.
Yoshimune-san also provided a further detail:
“We came up with a character that better reflects the mentality and the way of thinking of a young person today.”
Nothing else was mentioned, but the perspective of a fully new hero (or heroine) is certainly intriguing. We’ll have to wait and see what further reveals will bring.
Of course, you don’t need to wait that long to learn more, as our interview packed with information on Muv-Luv: Integrate, Project Mikhail, Project Immortal, the Kimi ga Nozomu Eien reboot, and the Alternative anime, will come very soon.
In other Muv-Luv Integrate news, Yoshimune-san recently released an updated version of a relevant image board, and explained another showcasing a few custom TSF.
