It’s been a staggering 18 years since Shenmue 2 originally released and all these years later Shenmue 3 has finally arrived on PC and PS4 to reunite us with Ryo all over again. Of course, Shenmue 3 retains the series’ stunning visuals and as such some players may be wanting to capture a moment forever. Here’s what you need to know about a photo mode in Shenmue 3.
Is There a Photo Mode in Shenmue 3? Answered
Right now, unfortunately, Shenmue 3 doesn’t have a photo mode for players to use. This normally allows players to change the contrast, saturation, brightness, and much, much more of their image to turn it from just any other screenshot into a work of digital art.
While developer Ys Net has yet to officially announce that photo mode is coming to the game, we wouldn’t be surprised if it arrives sometime in the future. Exactly when, well, your guess is as good as ours, but it’s fairly probable that Ys Net will release Photo Mode as part of a post-launch update that also introduces other new features, or just fixes bugs.
As soon as we hear anything regarding a photo mode in Shenmue 3, we’ll be sure to update this guide and break down exactly how you use it. In the meantime, it’s just a case of crossing your fingers and hoping for the best.
