How to Get Lightweight Tomestones in FFXIV

Back when the Normal tier of Eden raids first released, you needed to get seven Blades of Antiquity in order to obtain one Lightweight Tomestone. However, with the release of patch 5.1, you now only need four Blades.

First things first, you’ll need to run the fourth tier of the Normal Eden raid to obtain a Blade of Antiquity. Since Blades are still on a weekly lockout, this means that if you haven’t already been running the raids weekly, you’ll need at least four weeks with one successful clear per week to get your four Blades.

With your Blades of Antiquity in hand, you can now talk to the Eden Relic Exchange NPC at Eulmore and turn in your materials for a Lightweight Tomestone. This Tomestone can, in turn, be exchanged for Deepshadow weapons.

How to Get Deepshadow Weapons

Having a Lightweight Tomestone isn’t enough, as you’ll need another material to complete the exchange.

First off, you’ll need 1,000 Tomestones of Phantasmagoria, which can be obtained very easily by running your daily roulettes. Once you have 1,000, exchange them with the tomestone gear NPC at Eulmore for 10 Mowen’s Tokens (Phantasmagoria).

With your Tokens and Lightweight Tomestone in hand, talk to the Deepshadow NPC at Eulmore and exchange your materials for a Deepshadow weapon of your choice.

The weapon can later be augmented into an item level 470 version if you start running the Savage raids for Books of Inundation and the Deepshadow Solvent.

To sum up, here’s how to get the Lightweight Tomestone and Deepshadow weapons in FFXIV:

  1. Get four successful clears of the Eden raid for four Blades of Antiquity.

  2. Exchange the Blades for a Lightweight Tomestone.

  3. Earn 1,000 tomestones of Phantasmagoria through duty roulettes.

  4. Exchange the tomestones for 10 Mowen’s Tokens (Phantasmagoria).

  5. Turn in your materials for a Deepshadow weapon.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Lightweight Tomestone and Deepshadow weapons in FFXIV. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
