In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you are going to need every advantage you can get if you want any chance of freeing Auroa from the forces arrayed against you. Let’s take a look at how to use prone camo in Ghost Recon Breakpoint and what it does.
How to Use Prone Camo & What it Does in Ghost Recon Breakpoint
The art of ambuscade is a subtle and powerful one and an invaluable weapon in the guerilla fighters arsenal. A successful ambush not only guarantees the element of surprise, but it also allows a few to fight with the strength of many.
In Breakpoint, Prone Camo can allow you to hide in what many would consider being plain sight. This will allow you to shake off pursuers, and also get an edge over your technologically and numerically superior foe.
Location is everything: this technique is only useful if you are in the right place at the right time. Tallgrass is ideal, but you can also Prone Camo in deep enough snow or mud. Take notice of such terrain when you are reconnoitering your target.
Entering Prone Camo is simple enough, lie prone in the appropriate terrain and press the button prompt when it appears. By default, this is the X button on PlayStation or the A button on Xbox.
Lying prone in this fashion will help to hide you from passing drones or helicopters, and even foot soldiers will be fooled, provided they don’t trip over you.
Remember, be aware of your enemy and of your surroundings. Once you decide to use Prone Camo, you cannot move, and you are essentially a sitting duck. But if successful, you will be in a powerful position from which to strike.
