The release of the new Shadowkeep expansion for Destiny 2 means that a new Season is also currently underway. How to Farm Pluperfect in Destiny 2

The first time you get the Pluperfect will be through ranking up in the Destiny 2 Season Pass. Ranking up is done just by killing enemies and completing activities to fill up the progress bar at the bottom of the screen, and you’ll eventually receive the Pluperfect as a reward.

However, the catch is that the Pluperfect has random rolls, and you’ll be stuck with whatever you got on your first drop. Since you can’t simply reacquire seasonal gear through your Collections menu, you can’t just reroll the perks on your Auto Rifle.

Thankfully, though, if you keep ranking up your Season Pass, you will eventually unlock other ways to get the weapon to drop in various activities in the game.

When you reach ranks 73, 83, and 93 in the Season Pass, you’ll unlock Scrounger perks for Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard that give you a chance of receiving a seasonal Auto Rifle drop by participating in those related activities. This means that if you unlock Scrounger for all three categories, your chances of getting another Pluperfect will increase regardless of which type of activity you want to partake in.

From there, it’s just a matter of playing the game consistently, whether it’s Crucible, Gambit, or Strikes. You’ll then have a chance of getting a Pluperfect through these regular drops, and hopefully your rolls and perks will be better the second time around.

To sum things up, here’s how you can farm and reroll the Pluperfect in Destiny 2:

  1. Unlock the Auto Rifle by ranking up in the Season Pass.

  2. Reach ranks 73, 83, and 93 in the Season Pass to unlock the Scrounger perks for Gambit, Crucible, and Vanguard.

  3. Participate in Gambit, Crucible, or Vanguard activities.

You’ll essentially want to farm these activities for a chance for another Auto Rifle to drop.

That’s all you need to know about how to farm the Pluperfect Legendary Auto Rifle in Destiny 2. Be sure to check our Shadowkeep guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
