How to Get Pegasus Boots in Link’s Awakening

When you first start Link’s Awakening, you might find that Link walks at a nice slow pace, a little bit too slow if you ask me. Luckily, there is a way to run a bit faster after you get through the third dungeon.

In the Key Cavern, the third dungeon in the game, you will find a dungeon item called the Pegasus Boots, which allows Link to charge up his little feet and run really fast, pointing his sword out towards his foes.

You’ll find this item in a chest in the dungeon while progressing through it and once you obtain the boots, you won’t have to equip it.

To use the pegasus boots, just hold the L button and Link will begin to run. You can also combine the boots with Roc’s Feather to jump over large gaps. Just use the feather while the boots are in motion.

To sum things up:

  1. Get the pegasus boots from the third dungeon, the Key Cavern.

  2. Hold L to use them.

  3. Use the Roc’s Feather while you’re charging with the boots to clear large gaps.

And that’s everything you need to know about how to get the pegasus boots in Link’s Awakening.
