Astral Chain is an epic sci-fi game that tells the story of humanity on the brink of extinction. Even so, there’s still plenty of time to kick back and enjoy the finer things in life, like saving a bunch of cute cats from harm. If you’re playing the game, you’re probably wondering where you can find all cat locations in Astral Chain. We’re here to help.
All Cat Locations in Astral Chain
Cats serve as one of the main collectibles in Astral Chain, along with toilets you can find. There’s one to rescue in every single File, meaning there are eleven in total to match the game’s eleven Files, or chapters.
For a couple of the cats you’ll need Cat Food in order to coax them out of hiding, which you can get as Salvage throughout the game by finding it in dumpsters, using the Beast Legion to dig, and more.
Because of that, if you find any cat food, make sure not to sell it and just hang onto it until you need it, keeping at least one. You can also use cat food to feed the cats at Max’s Safehouse, which will then net you a small reward.
Any cats you save will be automatically transported back to the aforementioned safehouse where you can watch them, take cute pictures, or do whatever else you might want to.
Now, without further ado, below you can find the locations of all the cats we’ve found in Astral Chain. Please note that this is currently an incomplete list, and as we find more, or the info becomes available, we’ll make sure to update this article.
- File 02 – Near the very end of the level, after you protect the civilians on Grand Avenue. Head around the corner to the South, away from your objective. Use the Arm Legion to pick up the dumpster there and find the cat underneath.
- File 08 – Head down into the parking garage from the left of where you start, then go to the North end. You’ll see an officer crouched at a car trying to get the cat out. You need cat food to convince the cat to come out.
- File 11 – Head out of the secret hideout, then up and around the corner to the North. Climb up the very first ladder then down the walkway. You’ll find the cat in a cardboard box at the end.
