The images focus on the story and on the thirteen heroes that we’ll play in the game. To be specific each character is the main feature of two of the screenshots, even if the number varies due to the fact that most appear in other character’s images as well.

As usual, the absolutely gorgeous painterly art style that characterizes Vanillaware’s games is featured in full swing, giving this game a very unique look in today’s market.

You can check the whole gallery out below, and bask into the glory of George Kamitani’s lovely art. As a bonus, we also get to see a video celebrating International Cat Day, showing… a talking cat.

If you want to see more, you can check out  the previous gallery of screenshots and artworkthe latest gameplay release, and an earlier trailer.

Vanillaware has also been teasing another game, of which we’re supposed to hear more after the completion of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It certainly looks interesting, but we pretty much don’t know anything specific about it.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim releases in Japan on  November 28, 2019, exclusively for PS4. A western release has also been announced a while ago, but we don’t know much about it just yet.
