Is There New Game Plus in Rage 2?

The short answer is, no, there’s no new game plus mode in Rage 2.

These days, most modern games come with such a mode where you can start a new game and also carry over items and unlocks you’d gotten from a previous playthrough.

This allows you to enjoy the full experience again, but with a slightly easier time since you don’t have to waste too much time getting the same weapons and unlocks you’d gotten before.

Unfortunately, with Rage 2, it doesn’t look like the new game plus feature will be available to players. This means that if you want to enjoy the game’s story again, you’ll have to start a completely fresh file and redo everything.

It’s not completely out of the realm of possibility that the developers may decide to patch new game plus into the game at some point, though.

We’ve seen it happen with titles like Spider-Man from last year, along with Final Fantasy XV, so if the demand is high enough, the developers may eventually opt to include it here in a future patch.

For now, though, if you’d like to replay the game for its story, you can still shake things up a little by selecting a higher difficulty level. With four settings to choose from, you can choose to make the game a little harder to set a challenge for yourself.

That’s all you need to know about whether there’s a new game plus mode in Rage 2. Be sure to check our Rage 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
