How to Get the Rock Chuck in Days Gone

The Rock Chuck is one of the best weapons you can get in Days Gone, though we’d argue that it’s not quite as efficient as the Chicago Chopper, which is a fantastic gun with a large clip that you can get in Crater Lake.

However, the Rock Chuck does have one major benefit not present in the Chicago Chopper: it’s a silenced assault rifle. Once you unlock this, there’s virtually no more need for you to use the crossbow ever again, as you can stealthily take down large groups of enemies with silence and minimal effort.

Clearing All Marauder Camps

In order to unlock the Rock Chuck, you’ll need to complete the Marauder Camp Hunter storyline which, as the name implies, requires you to clear out all Marauder camps in the game.

The first two Marauder camps are located in the Cascade region, and you’ll naturally clear these out as part of the main story.

Aside from these, though, there are eight more camps you need to clear out to unlock the weapon. These camps can be accessed through camp missions, which are listed below:

  • Here’s a Little Chaos
  • Drifters at Eden Hall
  • He’s Just a Kid
  • Rippers, Rest in Hell
  • Just Doing My Job
  • A Bunch of Cavemen
  • He’s Feeding the Freaks
  • How Do I Get Them?

These missions can be found in the Cascade, Lost Lake, and Crater Lake regions. Simply continue to complete your camp missions, and you’ll be able to finish the Marauder storyline pretty quickly to unlock the gun.

That’s all you need to know about how to unlock the Rock Chuck assault rifle in Days Gone. Be sure to check our Days Gone guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
