Devil May Cry 5 Has Sold 2 Million Copies Worldwide

Today Capcom is hosting a panel at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco focusing on Devil May Cry 5, and it started with some sales news.

According to a slide presented by director Hideaki Itsuno and Producers Matt Walker and Michiteru Okabe (and reported by Iron Galaxy Studios Designer Isaac Torres, who is in attendance), the game has now sold two million copies worldwide.

This certainly is a sizable number considering that the game has been on the shelves only two weeks since its release on March 8, 2019. It’s also well-deserved, considering that Devil May Cry 5 has been met by critical and fan acclaim.

Recently, we saw some footage of the Bloody Palace survival mode that will come with a free update on April 1st, and a video starring the development team as they explain the philosophy behind the game.

Devil May Cry 5 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
