Dead or Alive 6, the latest in the long running DoA series is finally here and fans, whether they are new or old, can jump in and start using their favorite characters and their favorite costumes. If you’re here, you’re likely wondering how to save in Dead or Alive 6. Here’s what you need to know so you don’t accidentally lose any progress.

Saving Dead or Alive 6 ensures that you keep your progress in the story mode and hang onto currency that you earned. If you’re looking for a way to do that manually though you’re not going to find anything.

That’s because this game, like lots of modern games, uses an auto save feature to make sure that you lose as a little progress as possible.

After every fight, the game will auto-save any currency you’ve earned, progress that you’ve made in the story, and anything else that you can think of that you’d want to not lose.

You can tell that Dead or Alive 6 is doing this when you see the funky A-looking icon in the bottom-right corner. That tells you that the game is saving.

Pretty much the only way to lose some progress would be to lose power in the middle of a fight but even then you’d only lose what happened since the last fight completed, which probably isn’t much. Or, going out of your way to potentially corrupt your file by turning off the game while it’s saving. Don’t do that.

That does it for how to save in Dead or Alive 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For more tips, tricks, and news on the latest in the classic fighting game series, check our our Dead or Alive 6 wiki guide. Also, check out our latest interview with series director and producer Yohei Shimbori.
