Of course, the video is of the launch trailer variety and provides a nice overview of what the game has to offer, especially in terms of visuals.

We get to see beautiful icy landscapes, plenty of different implements of destruction, and of course monsters. The game’s environments may be charming, but they’re not friendly.

If you’re unfamiliar with Metro Exodus, it’s a survival horror shooter set in a post-apocalyptic version of Russia.

The game is the third of the series which debuted in 2010 with Metro 2033 and followed with Metro: Last Light in 2013. The franchise is based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels.

You can check the video out below and see if it gets your blood pumping for today’s release. If you want to know whether Metro Exodus is worth a buy, you can check out our review and see what Tom thought about it.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
