With such a large open world, tracking your enemies can get a bit tough. Luckily, there’s a way to keep tabs on your prey, even if they aren’t in your sights. Here’s how you can mark your enemies and use binoculars in Far Cry New Dawn.

Marking your enemies, whether they’re humans or animals, is a great way to keep them on your radar. Whenever you do it, they’ll stay marked on the screen with a small, red indicator.

Luckily, you won’t need binoculars to mark your enemies. All you need to do is aim down on your sights with your weapon and look for the enemy you want to track. This will automatically mark your prey in Far Cry New Dawn.

You can still get a pair of binoculars in the game and use it to tag enemies. To get your own set, you need to unlock the Tactical Binoculars perk which costs four perk points. Once you have it, simply press up on the d-pad and aim for any enemies to tag them.

Once you unlock Timber the dog as a companion, he’ll also automatically tag enemies and wildlife in your vicinity.

If you’re low on points, you can get more by either completing missions and challenges in Far Cry New Dawn. You can check the list of challenges by opening up your menu, and then scrolling over to the Challenges tab.

Some of these tasks will have you taking down foes with certain weapons, and you’ll get a certain amount of points depending on which challenge you complete. Once you have four points, you can get yourself some fancy new binoculars.

That’s about everything you need to know about how to mark enemies and use binoculars in Far Cry New Dawn.
