Earlier this year, Epic Games announced a special, limited time mode for Fortnite Battle Royale which saw players battling it out for the Infinity Gauntlet from Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War movie. Granting players formidable powers and the opportunity to transform into Thanos himself, it was a welcome game mode that helped freshen up the standard battle royale formula. Now, players can get their hands on the Infinity Blade. Here’s how to get the Infinity Blade in Fortnite and what it does.

Where the Infinity Blade Location Is in Fortnite

First things first, let’s run you through where you need to head in order to find the Infinity Blade in Fortnite. For this, you’re going to need to land at Polar Peaks, in the southwest section of Fortnite’s map. This is situated where the Viking Village location was in Season 6 with the large viking ship.

Once you’ve landed here, you’ll need to head to the central little courtyard area right in the center of this named location. Forget about the buildings here, the Infinity Blade location is right in the open at the top of Polar Peak. We’ve included a screenshot down below so you can easily see where the Infinity Blade will spawn.

It’s worth noting that due to this being a new and exciting weapon in Fortnite, there’s going to be a whole bunch of people landing in this location during these opening few days. As such, you might be best looking out for a floor weapon in Polar Peaks, grabbing that, and taking out the competition for the Infinity Blade before going to pick it up yourself.

What the Infinity Blade Does

The Infinity Blade is a melee weapon in Fortnite that’s arrived a mere day after Epic Games confirmed it was pulling the game trilogy from the Apple App Store. We’ve broken down the important information you need to know about the Infinity Blade down in bullet points below.

  • Rarity: Mythic
  • Damage:
    • Primary Sword Slash – 75 Damage
    • Secondary Leap and Landing Strike – 25 Damage
  • Picking up the Blade in Fortnite increases max Health and Shields to 200 each.
  • Health and Shield will constantly regenerate as long as the Infinity Blade is equipped.
  • You can only carry the Infinity Blade in your inventory and nothing else (outside of building materials).

And that’s pretty much everything you need to know regarding the benefits of the Infinity Blade in Fortnite. It’s worth noting here, however, that only one will spawn per match, and the blade will be dropped once the wielder is knocked out or eliminated. Though, with that regenerating health and shield, that’s going to be a tough task.

That’s everything you need to know for how to get the Infinity Blade in Fortnite and what it does. If you’re looking for more tips, tricks, and guides for the snowy season of Epic’s battle royale title, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Fortnite Season 7 guide wiki.
