Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are finally out in the wild, bringing many of us back to our childhood with this re-imagining of Pokemon Yellow. Throughout your journey, you may want to fast travel between areas to get around more quickly. Luckily, Let’s Go does have a fast travel mechanic, but finding and using it is not self explanatory. Here’s everything you need to know about how to fast travel in Pokemon Let’s Go.

Firstly, you want to be in Celadon City, which is in the middle and towards the top of the map, just below Mt. Moon. Once there, head to the Rocket Game Corner, go inside and head all the way to the back.

Interact with the poster of a rocket and a secret area will unlock on the left side of the arcade. Without getting into spoilers, this area contains a gauntlet of battles, as well as a few minor puzzles.

Completing this area and beating the boss will spawn an NPC outside of the arcade that you can interact with. You’ll see him standing next to some balloons attached to a hovering device.

After you talk to him, you’ll unlock a secret technique known as Sky Dash. Your main Pokemon, either Pikachu or Eevee, will learn the move and you’ll then be able to fast travel.

From this point, you can enter the menu by pressing X, then select the bag with A and go down to the Town Map. Then, maneuver to the town you want to travel to and select it.

At this point, a menu will come up that reads, “Go to X (whatever the name of the city is) city using the Secret Technique Sky Dash?” Select Yes and watch your character and Pokemon fly away. You’ll then spawn in the city, usually in front of a Pokemon Center.

That’s all you need to know about how to fast travel in Pokemon Let’s Go. Be sure check our Pokemon Let’s Go guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
