Can You Change Hairstyle in Vampyr?
Vampyr is an action role-playing game that has players stepping into the shoes of Jonathan Reid, a doctor who has turned into a vampire. His transformation leaves him torn between his intense thirst for blood and the Hippocratic Oath as a medical practitioner. Of course, keeping appearances is important when you’ve got to live a double life. One question some players might have is if they can change their hairstyle in the game.
Unfortunately, there isn’t an option that allows you to change hairstyle in Vampyr. You’re stuck with whatever hairstyle Reid decides to wear throughout the entire game. Not to say there’s anything wrong with his slick black hair. It’s a professional look – he’s a doctor, after all. That said, it doesn’t seem like players can customize his other features as well.
Appearances aside, there are plenty of other tidbits in the game that more than make for the lack of customization. Weapons, for example, can be completely improvised. He also has access to some nifty ranged weapons as well, such as the Webley Revolver. And let’s not forget the different vampiric abilities he can bring to a fight.
