First Look at Shining Resonance Refrain on Nintendo Switch

Sega has dropped a brand-new trailer for Shining Resonance Refrain today, providing us with our first look at the game in action on the Nintendo Switch. This comes a little over a month before the US and UK release on July 10.

Shining Resonance is part of SEGA’s long-running Shining series, one of the company’s main forays into the RPG genre.

The upcoming JRPG is a remaster and expanded version of Shining Resonance that was released exclusively in Japan on the PS3 in 2014. The remaster will have loads of new features such as an alternative story line known as “Refrain Mode” (which is available to play as soon as you boot the game up), two extra party members, and extra downloadable content that wasn’t present in the original version of Shining Resonance.

Shining Resonance Refrain will hit western shores on July 10 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
