How to Sprint and Run in Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront 2 takes you right into the heart of all those epic battles you’ve seen in the film franchise, playing as both normal soldiers and iconic heroes. These battles are pretty massive in scale and player count if you’re playing Galactic Assault, so you’ll need to know how to sprint to get around quickly.

In addition to your normal abilities, you’ll also have the option to crouch, dodge roll, and sprint. If you’ve played other shooters, you’ll probably be familiar on how to do these things. Just using the left stick will allow you to move your character around, but it might not be as quick as you want. Press down the left stick while moving it in a direction and you’ll be able to make your character sprint. This will allow you to get back to the frontline faster when you respawn, or retreat when the enemy completely overwhelms your team. There isn’t really any kind of stamina system in Star Wars Battlefront 2 like in other shooters, so you don’t need to worry about tiring out your character. Make sure you are sprinting everywhere you can, as it’ll be much faster than just walking.
