Sonic Mania finally comes out tomorrow and it features classic remixed stages from the Sega Genesis era that Sonic fans know and love. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails are all back to defeat the nefarious Doctor Eggman in a nostalgia trip back to the 90’s. PlayStation 4 players are surely excited to get their trophy rank up while racing through some new stages as the blue blur, but we have some bad news for trophy hunters which is the fact that Sonic Mania does not have a Platinum trophy.
This news is surprising since it seems that almost every big release that comes to the PS4 comes sporting at least a gold trophy, but the trophy list for Sonic Mania is lacking not only a Platinum but Gold trophies as well. We don’t know if this was Sega’s or Sony’s decision but nevertheless, it’s unfortunate to see a big Sonic game like this lack a Platinum.
