Is Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice PS4 Pro Compatible?

Ninja Theory has finally brought Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice to the PS4 and PC, and while PC owners will be busy messing with the graphical settings, PS4 Pro owners may be wondering if the game is compatible with their supercharged systems.

Well, we have some good news for you. Just a couple of weeks back, Ninja Theory confirmed that the game would, in fact, be PS4 Pro compatible. Alongside the game’s official trailer, Ninja Theory provided the following information about the PS4 Pro support:

‘In addition to the release of our new trailer we are announcing that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be enhanced for PlayStation 4 Pro.

PlayStation 4 Pro players will have the choice between experiencing Hellblade with enhanced resolution or at a higher framerate of 60fps.’

We can confirm through our time playing the game on PS4 Pro that it looks great and switching between the two options is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is check the 60Hz option in the settings for a higher framerate, and uncheck it for the enhanced resolution option.

That’s all you need to know about how the game runs on the more powerful Pro. For more on Hellblade, be sure to check out our wiki.
