How to Get to Morrowind and Start the Expansion in Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind

Recommended Videos

So you installed Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind and you’re ready to fire into Seyda Neen and visit the home of the Dark Elves for either the first time, or since you last played The Elder Scrolls III or Dragonborn. Depending on whether or not you are a new or a returning player, how you actually begin the Morrowind expansion will differ.

Unlike many other MMORPGs, the Morrowind expansion does let you hop right into the fray even if you’re a brand new player. Don’t worry about starting fresh, as the expansion’s quest line is its own contained story. If that’s you, all you need to do is create your character and you’ll go through a tutorial that will take you about 15-20 minutes. Upon its completion, you’ll end up in Seyda Neen. If you had an account already, you’ll have the option to skip the tutorial entirely.

If you’re starting the expansion with an existing character, you’ll be able to fast travel there directly. Simply open up your world map and fast travel to Seyda Neen Wayshrine. When you get there, locate some friendly folk that will get you on the path to starting the main quest line and beginning your path to aiding the living gods of the Dark Elves.
