League of Legends Dreadnova Darius

League of Legends: Dominate Top Lane with New Dreadnova Darius Skin

Rocket Axe, because Darius wasn't already terrifying enough.

We’ve all been there. You get a little careless trying to last hit a minion, and suddenly an axe reaches out to grab you, and a swing later, you’re running away with half your health as a Darius comes charging after you (and possibly spamming his mastery emote). If you’re unlucky, you’re quite possibly already dead.

Darius, the Hand of Noxus, has always been a dominant champion in solo que. His fairly easy playstyle capitalizes on mispositioning, with an execution built into his ultimate makes him fairly easy to pick up. However, Riot Games’ newest skin for the powerhouse will not be as easy to acquire. Dreadnova Darius gives the champion a much more science fiction look, with a rocket powered axe and a jetpack (note that all League of Legends skins are purely cosmetic and offer no stat bonuses). This isn’t a skin you can simply purchase through the in-game store. Not exactly, at least. Dreadnova Darius can only be exclusively attained through the new loot system, costing 10 gemstones, a very rare drop. Dreadnova Darius joins Soulstealer Vayne and Hextech Annie as the only champion skins that can’t be directly purchased.

This means the new skin either has unlocked through Hextech Chest purchases (which do not guarantee any gemstones) or by playing the game and earning the Chests throughout time, which will take a very lengthy amount of time. However, like Soulstealer Vayne and Hextech Annie, Dreadnova Darius has a slight chance of dropping as a skin shard. Best of luck, Summoners.
