Styx: Shards of Darkness Pokes Fun at Itself in Accolades Trailer

Rude and Crude.

The stealth game Styx: Shards of Darkness has released a new trailers showcasing what the various critics have to say about this title. However, unlike most that usually just showcase the score or a catchy quote (although these are present later on), developer Cyanide decides to have a bit of fun with this idea. During the beginning of the trailer, various quotes barrage the screen that make fun of the protagonist Styx and his rather hostile attitude. This video also takes some shots at the film Terminator and Shakespeare’s Hamlet, as the rude goblin spouts out some famous quotes with some slight alterations.

We here at Twinfinite gave Styx: Shards of Darkness a 4/5 due to the fantastic level design, solid stealth focused gameplay, and the very personable Styx. Sadly the game suffered from some notable glitches and a rather dull supporting cast that were not nearly as fun to watch as the goblin himself. Styx: Shards of Darkness is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
