Report: Achievements for Unannounced Ninja Turtles Game Surface Online

Cowabunga for 10G!

Hey, remember that Ninja Turtles game being developed by Bayonetta developer Platinum Games getting sort of hinted at from late last year? Well, in addition to still not being announced, there are some very real achievements announced for the Xbox One version of the game, courtesy of Xbox Achievements.

The achievements hint that you’ll be able to switch between the four Turtles on the fly like something in the vein of Batman: Arkham Knight or the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, along with fun little ones like eating pizza during snapshots after a boss is defeated. You can also let Bebop and Rocksteady get run over by a train for some gamerscore. Ouch.

The Ninja Turtles game still hasn’t been announced, but it’s worth noting that there’s a new movie coming in June and Platinum’s big dragon simulator Scalebound has now been pushed back to 2017. It’s possible that the two are related; if Platinum’s working on a TMNT game to be released in relative proximity to the movie, they may have had to push Scalebound back.

Thinking about grabbing this game when it’s announced? Let us know in the comments below.
