Persona 5: How to Get the Eternal Lockpick

Never craft another lockpick again.

Getting the Eternal Lockpick in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

The Eternal Lockpick is a really handy tool in Persona 5, and it lets you open all locked chests without ever having to spend time making infiltration tools again. As its name suggests, the Eternal Lockpick is simply an infinite-use lockpick. Before you craft it, you’ll have to reach rank 6 with the Magician Confidant with Morgana. As this Confidant ranks up with the story, you’ll reach rank 6 a little before unlocking the fourth dungeon in the game.

After getting the bonus ability ‘Ace Tools,’ you’ll now have the ability to craft the special lockpick at the desk in your room. To craft the Eternal Lockpick, you’ll need the following materials: Aluminium Sheet x 20, Liquid Mercury x 10. Both of these materials can be farmed from enemies in Futaba’s Palace or in Mementos. However, do note that the Eternal Lockpick is not considered a key item, so you won’t be able to bring it over to subsequent new game cycles, and you’ll have to craft it all over again if you want to make use of its benefits.
