Batman: Arkham Knight Riddler Trophy Guide – Where to Find All Miagani Island Trophies

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Just as with the riddles scattered around the three islands of Batman: Arkham Knight, there are tons of small green trophies for Batman to collect during his grim adventure. Some are obvious even to players rushing through the game, while others are hidden so well you may not see them even if they’re pointed right out. This guide will cover the basic Riddler trophies. What do we mean by that? Well, these are the ones that don’t require much work, you just find them and pick them up. Puzzle trophies require Batman to solve a puzzle and we’ll cover those as soon as we can.

Since there are so many trophies to be found in Batman: Arkham Knight, we’re once again going to split them up by island, just to make your search a bit easier. Keep in mind that sometimes the Batmobile is needed to access certain trophies, so you will need to complete the story mission City of Fear to gain vehicle access to all areas. Also, you may need a certain gadget for particular ones as well, if this happens, just continue the main story until you obtain it. To avoid any headaches, you can also just wait until you’ve completed the main story before tackling the mission of obtaining all of Batman: Arkham Knight‘s Riddler trophies.

Riddler Puzzle Trophies

What are the Riddler Puzzle trophies, you ask? Well, these are the trophies you stumble across that require a bit of thinking to acquire. Depending on which one you’re after, you’ll have to stand on switches, hit targets, lead monkeys (yeah, seriously), glide, or maybe even a combination of all. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered.

#1

You’re going to need the Remote Electrical Charge and Voice Synthesizer for this particular Riddler trophy. Head to the base of the bridge and you’ll see a breakable wall that you can use the Batmobile’s 60mm cannon on. Destroy it, then glide in to discover a Riddler Bot along with a generator. Instruct the Riddler bot to head towards the far wall then use the generator to crush the bot. There should be a switch in the room that will allow you to revive the robot on the other side. You can now instruct it to stand on the pressure plate in that new area in order to release your coveted prize.

#2

This one is relatively easy to nab as long as you can get your Batmobile onto the rooftop. Use the ramp on top of the nearby parking garage to get up to the roof. Once up there, you can attach the Batmobile’s winch to the generator and release your trophy.

#3

This one is a combat puzzle. Sitting on top of the rather tall building is a group of Riddler Bots. You may notice that some are blue, while others are red. Batman can only attack blue bots so use your Batarang on the switch located on the same roof to switch the color of the Riddler Bots.

#4

This one is right inside of the Midtown Mall. There will be a giant puzzle box with winch points for your Batmobile to latch onto. Use the Batmobile to pull out the boxes in order to lower the trophy all the way to the bottom.

#5

Look around until you see the large sign for Lacey’s Department Store. Under that sign is a spot for you to attach the Batmobile’s winch. Use it to raise the sign and reveal a hidden area where you trophy awaits.

#6

This is one of those tricky ones. When you arrive at the location, you will encounter a locked trophy and some coordinates. The coordinates will lead you to the roof of the hospital where a switch awaits (coordinates can be viewed in the lower right-hand corner of the map screen). Activate the switch and then rush on back to the trophy before time expires.

#7

At the very base of the large church is a destructible wall (it’s close to the lion statue). Destroy this wall and use your Batmobile’s winch to raise the large block barring access to the Riddler trophy. Beware, once you obtain your prize, a group of armed Riddler Bots will appear. Release the winch to quickly crush them.

#8

At the base of the bridge leading out of Gotham there is a puzzle that has two wheels. If you use the Batmobile to pull the winch between the two, they will connect and begin to raise the trophy (located on the right). Grab the trophy using your Batclaw before it goes too high. It may be best to use the Batmobile in remote mode so you don’t waste any time climbing in or out of it.

#9

This Riddler trophy requires the Voice Synthesizer and a bit of guts. Head over to the location to discover a group of armed Riddler Bots standing around three switches. Stay out of sight and use the Voice Synthesizer to guide each bot onto a switch. Now quickly swoop in and collect your trophy from between them. Drop a smoke pellet after claiming your prize then proceed to haul ass.

#10

At the base of the hospital is a Riddler switch activated by your Batmobile’s sonar. Trigger it to reveal a series of glowing question marks leading you to your destination. They will lead you up onto the bridge, which you can access by going around back. Use your sonar to bring up more question marks until you end at a glowing circle on a wall (right beside a furniture shop). Shoot it with your cannon, then glide up and collect your trophy.

#11

Under the bridge is a puzzle that requires perfect timing. There are four switches that must be hit within 5 seconds of one another. Since their positioning is pretty weird, you will need to use Batarangs and Explosive Gel. Place the Explosive Gel on the two switches found on the column furthest from the trophy. Then stand on the plate nearby the trophy. Quickly throw two Batarangs at the switches across from you then trigger the Explosive Gel before the time runs out. Collect your prize.

#12

For this one, you will once again need your Batmobile and some quick shooting. Rest Batman’s vehicle on the large pressure plate, then quickly shoot the Riddler switches as they glow. They will glow quickly and appear in groups. If you manage to charge up your Missile Barrage, it’s a great way to quickly eliminate a group of switches while you focus on others. Once done, exit your Batmobile and use the Batclaw to obtain the Riddler trophy.

#13

This one is a puzzle tower, one that requires the Batmobile and the Remote Electrical Charge. Use the winch on the Batmobile to pull out the top point on the tower then use your Remote Electrical Charge to guide the ball holding your trophy to the end. Release the winch and move on to the next attachment point to move the ball further down. Finally, pull the last box out and your trophy will be inside.

There you have it, some easy trophies for you to pick up. Green is a beautiful color and I’m sure all of these trophies would look great adorning the crevices of Batman’s cave.
