Metro: Exodus is one of the most highly anticipated games on the horizon and we just got to see a brand new trailer for the game at The Game Awards. Exodus will continue the story of the protagonist Artyom from the last two games. A specific release date is still yet to be revealed but the trailer states we can expect to see the game in the Fall of 2018. Check out the new trailer for yourself below:
The game will pick up from where the last game left off and the story will see players leave the relative safety of Moscow and explore further into Russia. New regions can be explored and will feature different weather patterns depending on the season.
The Metro games are based on the post-apocalyptic Metro book series written by the Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. The story is set in a devastated Russia where nuclear war has all but wiped out humanity. The remaining survivors seek shelter in the underground metro tunnels, far from the dangers that lie on the surface.
