Any wanna-be pirates out there? If you are, you’ll be glad to hear that a certain Microsoft Executive is teasing new Sea Of Thieves information for those who tune into The Game Awards.
Sea Of Thieves is a game that we’ve been hearing about for a bit now. Many of us have experienced it through trailers and teasers. Some were lucky enough to be part of the ongoing Alpha. But Aaron Greenberg, who is the Xbox Games Marketing General Manager at Microsoft told fans to expect more details on Sea Of Thieves. This announcement was made during a stream Microsoft was hosting for Extra Life.
Greenberg didn’t give away anymore other than that the game would be talked about. But with the alpha ending very soon, we may hear about how it went and what fans thought. We may also be getting a timeframe for when the game will actually be releasing. Of course, these are only assumptions as to what may be discussed.
Currently, Sea Of Thieves is scheduled to land on the Xbox family of consoles in early 2018. The title will also be available on PC.
You can watch The Game Awards as it is streamed from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show will be live on Dec. 7 at 5:30 PM PST and 8:30 PM EST.
