Upgrade Your Rifle – ReCore

Recommended Videos

Your rifle in ReCore is your go-to weapon for taking out the robot threat. While it’s pretty powerful when you use it at the start, you’ll soon find that you require a little more power to take down some of the enemies a little later on in the game. Here’s how you upgrade your rifle.

Your rifle can use different colored attachments to change the kind of shot it’s firing. By doing so, you can improve your effectiveness and change what effect an overcharged shot does. For example, using the red attachment is incredibly effective against red-cored enemies, and also has the potential to deal out burn damage when firing an overcharged shot.

There are three different upgrades you can get for your rifle- red, yellow, and blue- and these are all found by simply progressing through the main story of the game. Luckily, you don’t have to worry about exploring off of the beaten path to find any additional attachments or ways to increase the stopping power of your trusty weapon. Simply continue through the story and you’ll pick up everything you need along the way.

If you’re seeking a little extra firepower in battle, however, don’t forget to upgrade your Corebots whenever you’ve got the means to do so.
