Part 1: Industrial Area Collectibles

collectibles

After escaping from Monarch custody, it’s time to hunt for Paul Serene. While you’re at it, you may want to go and grab all 17 collectibles littering the area. This part of Quantum Break introduces you to Chronon Sources (think skill points). So you’ll definitely want to grab those at the very least. You’ll also be introduced to Intel, collecting sets of these unlock diaries that you can listen to.

There are seven Chronon Sources, four computers, two documents, two media, one Intel, and one Ripple.

  1. Chronon Source – As soon as you start this level do not climb up and proceed. Instead move down the room away from both Liam and Beth and trigger your Time Vision. This will make the first Chronon Source in the game appear. Use it to upgrade something to get the Chronon Surge achievement.
  2. Chronon Source – This is found in the room that has the traversal challenge with the falling beams. After dropping the beams, don’t try and climb them. Instead, run to the far end of the room and use Time Vision to display another Chronon Source.
  3. Ground Zero Map – After collecting the source in the last room, climb up and enter the next room.  Near the exit to the room is a map on the wall that serves as your next collectible.
  4. University Fallout – On the table in front of all the screens in the same room you’ll see a laptop. Interact with it.
  5. Gala Invite Ripple – The last collectible also triggers this Quantum Ripple for you, so two birds with one stone.
  6. Monarch’s Witness Kill List/Monarch PR Campaign – In the same room, on the wall to your left right when you first enter is a poster board. Depending on if you choose Hardline or PR, you will find the Kill list or Campaign respectiviely.
  7. Chronon Source – Once you clear out the next room, take the elevator up after Beth speaks to you. Continue on as you normally would but make sure to collect the Chronon Source right before making the turn at the first steel beam.
  8. RE: Ground Zero Operation – As you continue on, you’ll come across a room where guards are dealing with hostages from the university. Kill the two guards, hop into the window and access the laptop to your left.
  9. Eye Drop Bottle – In the same room, near the exit, you’ll find Martin Hatch’s eyedrops on top of a crate (if you haven’t found any other pieces of Intel, you’ll unlock the A Link To The Future achievement).
  10. Chronon Source – After you clear the gate problem (just slow it down with Time Stop and you can breeze on by), head to your left and run all the way down. Climb the blue container and jump over the fence to collect this source (remember to use your Time Vision).
  11. Chronon Source – Return to the gate where you entered and climb the train directly across from it. You’re going to head to the roof of the building that had the switch to the gate. Drop into the hole on the roof and collect your next source.
  12. Chronon Source – The next one is on the billboard that you can jump on from the same train that led you onto the roof. Simply climb up and head to the left.
  13. RE: Jack Joyce – You’re done with the trainyard now so head into the window that Amy/Nick directs you to. Drop down and before you open the door for the NPC, use the laptop.
  14. Internal Monarch Comms – On the opposite end of the room is a radio. Interact with that for the next collectible.
  15. Chronon Source – When you exit the room with the last couple of collectibles, you’ll find yourself in an alleyway leading to a door that is very close by. Before going into that door, hop onto the awning over it. There is a source over your head.
  16. FWD: Monarch Concerns – This collectible can only be collected after clearing the room directly after the last Chronon Source. After defeating the first wave of enemies, you’ll be directed to a gate where you’ll have to rewind time to open it. Once inside, access the laptop near the surveillance screens.
  17. Internal Monarch Comms 2 – If you’re facing the laptop you just accessed, there will be a radio to your left.

Part 2: Ground Zero Collectbles

collectibles, Quantum Break

Ground Zero has a staggering 22 collectibles for players to locate. After getting through the Industrial Area, you’ll find yourself dealing with Monarch Facilities. There’s a lot ahead, so let’s get started.

  1. Sofia Amaral’s Chronon Presentation – As soon as Part 2 begins you’ll find yourself on the upper level of a huge room. Go to your left, towards the TV, and interact to get your first collectible. Afterwards, clear the room.
  2. Chronon tech Phase 2 milestones – Downstairs is a time machine core. Walk straight past it to find a laptop sitting on a table.
  3. Chronon Source – There is a simple traversal puzzle for you. Shoot down the steel plates, stand on top, rewind time to use them as an elevator. After reaching the top, go down the stairs directly in front of you. Behind them is your source.
  4. Chronon Source – Go back up the stairs, and follow the path (this is the only path to the next area). You’ll notice that there are raised vents to your left after you make your first right. On the other side of them is a hole you can drop into and find the next Quantum Break Collectible.
  5. Trailer Note – On the hood of the car near the trailer is this note.
  6. Bobby Radford Riverport Radio Show (Different versions depending on which Junction you chose) – You cannot miss this collectible. The note you just found tells you that the trailer door is connected to the car. Turning on the car automatically turns on the radio.
  7. Chronon Source – There is a tall device sitting outside in a clearing. On top of it is the Chronon Source you seek.
  8. My Screenplay – As soon as you walk into the trailer, make a right and then look to your right. There is a laptop with a hilarious screenplay called Time Knife.
  9. RE: Next Steps – Continue on towards the end of the trailer. Before exiting, make sure to grab that email by the door.
  10. Chronon Source – Exit the trailer and head to the boathouse to your left. Head inside and make your way to the far left corner to find this source.
  11. Ground Zero Warning Sign – Follow your objectives until you reach the quarantine tunnels. There will be Stutters where you see Paul. There will be a huge black sign to your right, that’s what you’re looking for.
  12. T-Rex Ripple – Continue to William’s workshop and eventually time will go crazy. Follow your objectives and you’ll head down some rickety stairs. The T-Rex is to your right.
  13. Trespasser Alert – Continue on and before you hit the weird bridge, you’ll be able to grab one last laptop collectible.
  14. RE: Dr. Kim’s lab and Serene’s Treatment – Continue on to the sealed room where you’ll take down two simple soldiers. Directly in front of you is a computer that you can interact with after killing those guys.
  15. RE: Jack –  Next to the doors leading out of this room is a tablet containing this email. After grabbing it do not leave. Turn around instead.
  16. Sudden Stop – To the right of where you walked in is an Alan Wake collectible. It’s a novel laying on a hospital bed. Now you can leave this quarantine area.
  17. Chronon Source – When you exit the previous quarantine area, there will be another directly in front of you. Before going in, go to your right, then make a right and run all the way to the back where you’ll see some large graffiti. On that graffiti is your next collectible.
  18. RE: Liam Burke’s Status – Since you’ve got your Chronon Source you can head back and enter the next quarantine zone. As you’re walking through, pay attention to your left, there will be a laptop with your next collectible.
  19. Chronon Source – When you exit the quarantine area, go straight and look to your left. Behind some mechanical parts is the item you’re looking for.
  20. Liam Burke Psych Evaluation – Turn around now and head in the direction you were supposed to head in. There are some vans and in the back of he first one to your right is a tablet.
  21. RE: Nick Marsters – This collectible is only available if you chose Hardline in Junction 1. When you enter the next quarantine area you’ll find it near the entrance on a bench. It’s a tablet with an email about your cab driver, someone you may recognize.
  22. Chronon Source – In the same room, head to the far end and look behind the divider to your left.

Part 3: Bradbury Swimming Pool Collectibles

collectibles

It’s time to see what your brother was working on in secret. The swimming pool actually has quite a few collectibles hidden in it’s long abandoned rooms.

  1. Chronon Source – To get into the pool you’ll have to rewind time on a scaffold in the back and hop onto the roof. Before going into the building, run all the way to the end and grab your first Quantum Break collectible of the area.
  2. Chronon source – Go back to where you came from and jump off the opposite end of the scaffolding to head into a hole on the side of the building. You can go inside after grabbing this.
  3. Schrodinger Diary – Make your way to Will’s desk, the game will lead you right to it to find a few collectibles. Next to a grey bucket on the desk is a tape player with the diary inside.
  4. Riverport Discreet Moving Services Bill – To the right of the diary is a blue binder with your next collectible.
  5. Bradbury Swimming Pool Deed –  Continuing down the line on the table is another collectible. It’s a pile of paper so you may just look it over by mistake.
  6. Hardline Specific Radio Report –  Now that you got that clump of collectibles turn around and locate the radio at the end of the bar.
  7. Chronon Source –  Right across from the radio are some double doors that are locked. Go into the nearby hallway and enter the locked room through another door. There’s a Chronon Source on the vent overhead in the middle of the room.
  8. Chronon Source –  Head into the lower floors after letting Beth in. Follow the red and yellow cables on the floor into a room with a ladder. There’s a Chronon Source behind the ladder.
  9. Time Machine Room Map –  Now it’s time to head to the actual time machine room with the huge pool. This is where you’ll find everything else you need. To your left, where Amy/Nick is standing, you’ll find a hand-drawn time machine map.
  10. Physicist on the Rise Article – To the right of that map is an article sitting on the desk next to some really old computers.
  11. Countermeasure Schematics – Head to the right of where you entered and you’ll find a board with the blueprints for the Countermeasure.
  12. RE: Where are you? – To the right of the countermeasure collectible is an email.
  13. Time Machine Schematics – Turn completely around after grabbing that email and to your right and you’ll see a board with Time Machine schematics and blueprints.
  14. Parents Killed in Riverport Car Crash Article – There is an area behind the board you just checked out. Go to your right and you’ll find a passage leading you to a smaller pool area. When you enter you’ll find an article on the table ahead about your parents.
  15. Chronon Source – Towards the back of this same area is another Chronon Source, the last in this part of Act 2.
  16. A Civilian’s Guide to Time Travel – This one is very easy to miss. Go back to the large area, and head face the time machine. You’ll want to run along its left side all the way to the back where Will has another table set up. Here is where you’ll find your final collectible.

Junction 2 Personal/Business Collectibles

quantum break junction 2

The second Junction of Quantum Break tasks players with choosing how to deal with Jack Joyce. He’s proving to be a thorn in Paul Serene and Monarch’s side, so something must be done. While this segment of the game is really short there is still something to add to your long list of collectibles.

  • What happened to Dr. Henry Kim – As soon as Junction 2 begins turn completely around and head to your desk. Many players don’t think to look behind them when starting a level so this one’s easy to miss. Access your computer and you’re done with Act 2’s collectibles.
