The golf game which features zero load times between holes, photo-realistic replications of over a dozen real-life courses, and a roster of twelve Tour golfers joins other sports titles such as Madden 16, FIFA 16, and NHL 16 in the Vault. Other EA titles in the Vault include Need for Speed Rivals, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield 4, and backwards compatible versions of Plants vs. Zombies and Dead Space.

To access games in the Vault, Xbox One owners must first be members of EA Access, a service exclusive to Xbox One which costs $5 a month or $30 a year. Members receive access to the 20 games in the Vault, 10% off all EA purchases, and 5-day early access to virtually every title released by EA.

In order to download games from the Vault, members must open up the EA Access hub on their Xbox One, navigate to the vault, find the title they wish to download, and select “Get it free” from the game’s store page. Once downloaded, EA Access members have access to the full title for the duration of their membership. In order to maintain access to the game if the membership is cancelled, players will have to purchase the game outright. However, all progress in the game is saved.
