Is Crackdown 3 Coming to PC?

Crackdown 3 is set to be one of Microsoft’s biggest exclusives of 2017. Players will be put into the shoes of a super-powered crime-stopping agent in a huge open sandbox world. The game’s online segment will also make use of the power of the cloud to make environments crumble and explode with more realism than ever. While the game was supposed to have released last year, the game was delayed indefinitely to sometime in 2017. While when the game will finally release is certainly the question everyone wants to know the answer to at the moment, others may be wondering if the game is coming to PC.

Well, we have good news! Thanks to Microsoft’s Play Anywhere program, players will be able to download and play Crackdown 3 on both the Xbox One and PC. The Play Anywhere feature also means that you’ll be able to play on your PC, save your progress, and pick up exactly where you left off back on the Xbox One. The wonders of technology today, eh? It’s worth noting, though, that Play Anywhere only allows you to play on both consoles (and only pay once), if you buy a digital copy of the game. Picking up a physical Xbox One copy will not grant you the same privilege.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a huge amount of information we know about Crackdown 3 just yet, but hopefully, we’ll hear more about the game a little later in the year.

Crackdown 3 is coming to PC and Xbox One and is planned for a release at some point in 2017.
