Jump Force has received a flood of charact additions in the last week and now another anime mega-series joins the fray with Yusuke and Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho. The new characters were confirmed by an image released by Bandai Namco, as well as a short trailer shown off at Tokyo Game Show.
Yusuke Urameshi is the main character of Yu Yu Hakusho, and he becomes a Spirit Detective (tasked with defending the Human Realm from supernatural threats) after being struck and killed by a car. Meanwhile, Toguro was the main antagonist of the Dark Tournament Saga of Yu Yu Hakusho, and he’s a former human who now possesses dangerous Demon powers.
We don’t know much about how these characters will play outside of the quick one-minute trailer, but we do at least know that Yusuke’s iconic Spirit Gun move will be featured. At the same time, Bandai Namco also revealed that Jump Force’s story mode will feature original characters designed by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama.
