How to Use Grapple Points in Yooka-Laylee

As you dive deeper into your adventure in Yooka-Laylee, you’ll begin to notice grapple points on some ledges. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make use of these from the very start of the adventure. Here’s what you need to do to use grapple points in Yooka-Laylee.

First things first, make your way to the third Grand Tome in Yooka-Laylee, Moodymaze Marsh. Once you’re here, head straight on and search for Trowzer underneath a large mushroom. Speak to him and you’ll be able to purchase the Lizard Lash move for 60 Quills. If you’re running low on Quills, just explore Moodymaze Marsh and you’ll find a bunch of them incredibly easily.

With the move purchased, simply point your camera towards one of the grapple points in Yooka-Laylee and press B (Circle on PS4). As long as the grapple point is within your viewpoint, Yooka will attach to it with his tongue and fling the duo up to the ledge. Be sure to use these grapple points whenever you see them as you never know where you’ll find Pagies hiding.
