Yes, You Can Drive the Train in Battlefield 1

Choo choo!
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

A video for Battlefield 1 last week revealed that in multiplayer, players may see a train chugging by on the warzone. Sure enough, you will be able to drive it in the game when it releases, and it’ll be included in the beta next week on the Sinai Desert map. It’ll support up to six people, meaning you and five friends can dominate over your enemies if you know how to use it right.

There’s a caveat, though. Obviously, you can only use the train while it’s on the tracks, no matter how much you may wish otherwise. And if you’re caught on the tracks while it’s coming towards you…well, hope you didn’t need those arms. The train is classified as a “Behemoth” class vehicle in the game, and you’ll be able to fire turret guns as it moves. Another Behemoth vehicle in the game will be the Zeppelin Airship.

Battlefield 1 comes to the PS4, PC, and Xbox One on October 21.
