Destiny’s latest expansion, Rise of Iron, is set to bring several new elements to the core game as it introduces yet another threat for Guardians around the world to face. One of those new features is the Rise of Iron Record Book. The Record Book keeps track of all your progress through the new expansion such as kills, quest completions, and other markers of your growing Legend.

Of course, the Record Book does a bit more than just tell you things you’ve done. After all, you’ll probably remember most of the more important events. It also allows you to unlock new gear, emblems, and other goodies to use in Destiny. These rewards, granted to you by the Iron Lords, are unlocked as you reach certain percentage milestones. There are challenges within the book that will task you with completing specific events and other activities in order to fill its pages. As those challenges are completed, the completion percentage will rise, moving you ever closer to that 100% mark. Along the way, you’ll unlock different gifts for your efforts as you impress the Iron Lords.

Rest assured that the Rise of Iron Record Book isn’t the only way to earn rewards while playing the new expansion. You’ll still have your usual events such as the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris, along with some other new activities to keep you engaged. All will tie into the book at some point, though, so keep an eye on it.
