The Division’s Best Base Upgrades You Should Get

Tech Wing

Recommended Videos

The Tech Wing is for all of you DPS agents. Upgrades here will provide abilities that help with crafting and dealing damage to large groups of enemies on your own. Tech-heavy agents are perfect for providing balance against enemy forces. Some of the best upgrades in this wing, though, actually help to make you more self sufficient.

  • Water Purification (400 Supplies) –  Turret Mods!! The Turret is very useful for when you’re playing solo. It can provide suppressive fire, allowing you to move around and get out of tight spots. With certain upgrades, you can really up the damage as well, taking down even tough enemies while focusing on others.
  • Generators (400 Supplies) – Sticky Bombs are one of the first skill you get in The Division. There’s nothing like hitting some unsuspecting sap with one of these and watching the panic ensue. Adding more damage or a Proximity Fuse mod will help you cover any angle on the battlefield.
  • Division Tech (1000 Supplies) – Tactical Link turns every ally around you into a DPS machine, as well as ups your damage output and critical hit chance. That alone makes this upgrade worth the investment, but the extra Perks on the side make it a must-have. Division Tech Materials lets you convert Division Tech into other materials, and you get the Engineer Perk which deposits electronics at your base every hour. Let the crafting commence.
  • Recalibration (200 Supplies) – Weapons you find while exploring in The Division have random stats and Perks. This station will allow you to switch one stat on any weapon, giving you a chance to make a great weapon even better. We recommend not getting this one until you’re around level 15; you’ll have weapons you actually care about around this time.
  • Recharge Station (200 Supplies) – This is yet another upgrade perfect for those who like the Dark Zone. Purchasing the Recharge Station will give you a 10% increase in Dark Zone Credit gains.
