Square Enix has shown off some more of the long-awaited JRPG, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, at their 2018 E3 press conference. The Legend of the Luminary trailer shows off some English cutscenes of the game, and gives us a good look at some of the game’s party members.

The trailer also reveals the Edition of Lost Time, which is a special edition of the game that can be purchased exclusively from the Square Enix store for $149.99. It comes with a steelbook, art book, map, and symphonic suite. Pre-ordering the game will also net you some digital goodies.

Dragon Quest XI has been out in Japan for some time now, having a simultaneous release on both PS4 and 3DS. It sold extremely well, hitting close to a million units sold within its first week of release. It wasn’t until recently that we learned that the game will finally be getting a Western release, which will be fully translated in English, including full English voice acting.

Dragon Quest XI is the first single-player game in the series to release on an HD console. In fact, it is the first game in the series since 2004’s Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King to not feature any multiplayer components.

The latest entry to the long-running franchise will be heading to Western shores on September 24, 2018, releasing on the PS4 and PC via Steam. Square Enix has yet to confirm whether or not the 3DS version will be releasing overseas. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is currently in development.
