Since the debut of the PS4, Sony has definitely been enjoying good sales and reception from their customer base. Certainly, the announcements and releases of exclusive games have helped sales as well. Titles like Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, and Horizon Zero Dawn have consistently enjoyed top spots on various gaming charts, which would help to sell the console as well.

Just last year, the company announced that they were phasing out the standard PS4s and introducing the PS4 Slim instead. The PS4 Pro was also released at the tail end of 2016.
