Sniper Elite 5 Launches for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on May 26

World War II shooter Sniper Elite 5 will launch for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms on May 26, developer Rebellion announced today.

The studio showed off more of the game in the release trailer posted below. Players assume elite marksman Karl Fairburne as he uncovers uncovers a Nazi plot codenamed Operation Kraken that could turn the tide of the war and must stop the mastermind behind the plot, Axis Obergruppenführer Abelard Möller.

Sniper Elite 5 offers a full single-player campaign that also supports two-player online co-op, 16-player competitive multiplayer, and the new Invasion mode where players can invade other players’ campaigns for high rewards.

Pre-orders are now available and give access to the Wolf Mountain “Target Führer” campaign mission, where players Hitler’s private mountain retreat in the Bavarian Alps and the P.1938 Suppressed Pistol weapon. The Deluxe Edition contains the pre-order items and the game’s season pass that can also be purchased separately. The season pass includes two campaign missions, two weapon skin packs, two character packs, and six weapon packs.

Sniper Elite launches on May 26 for Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and on PC via Epic, Steam, and the Windows Store.
