Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim Gameplay Trailer Showcases New Maps and Heroes

Today, EA released a gameplay trailer for Outer Rim, the first DLC drop for Star Wars Battlefront.

The trailer showcases the big additions that Outer Rim will bring to the popular first-person shooter. New heroes Greedo and Nien Nunb can be seen at the heart of the action in this latest trailer which showcases a couple of the four new maps based on Sullust and Tatooine, coming as part of the DLC.

The DLC will also include a new mode called Extraction. In Extraction, the Rebel forces will be tasked with extracting resources to a transport ship before time runs out or the Empire forces defeat them. You can check out the gameplay trailer for the Outer Rim DLC below. The EAStarWars account is currently streaming on Twitch featuring popular YouTubers showcasing the upcoming DLC.

Outer Rim launches on March 22 for players who picked up the Battlefront DLC pass. For those of you who held off on the $50 pass, the DLC will be available on April 5 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
