Rumor – Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Pre-orders May Include Closed Beta Access

Bring on the beta!
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Infinity Ward intends to grant those who pre-order a copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare some type of bonus. While no details concerning the reward have been revealed so far, it seems that a beta is also part of the developer’s plans.

The photo below, discovered by CharlieINTEL, suggests a beta could be in the works:

beta, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Perhaps the beta access itself is the “future reward” that was alluded to, but it can also very well be its own thing. Just last year, Treyarch tried out a beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, so it is possible that Infinity Ward could just be following in its colleague’s footsteps.

In related news, Infinity Ward has also announced that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be following the same exclusivity deal as Black Ops III. All downloadable content will be available first on the PlayStation 4, and released on the Xbox One and PC at a later date.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered will be available this holiday season on Nov 4.
