The 3rd person adventure and exploration game, with horrors straight out of a novel from H.P. Lovecraft, is due out on June 6th, 2016, and is being published by Oculus. In Edge of Nowhere, players will take on the role of Victor Howard, who is looking for his lost fiancé, Ava Thorne, in the brutally cold and dark Antarctica.

Per a blog post from Insomniac Games’, a mission to find Howard’s wife “takes a sudden turn as he ventures deeper into a dark monstrous world where reality warps and twists around him. Desperate to find the one he loves, Victor must encounter disturbing creatures and climb sheer cliff walls as he descends further into madness.”

As of this time, the game does not have an official ESRB rating, nor does it have a VR Comfort Rating.

Insomniac Games’ recent title, the PS4 reboot of Ratchet and Clank, was released to critical acclaim and launched to the #2 spot on April’s sales chart, only behind Dark Souls III. We called Ratchet and Clank, “absolutely beautiful,” and stated that the “characters are all wonderful.
