They’re a bit of a pain in the butt to deal with, within No Man’s Sky. You aren’t able to analyze them as they fly around the sky, unfortunately, so what are you left to do? That’s right, you have to shoot them down first. Don’t go for the Boltcaster while doing this, as it will make it harder to hit them. Like, much harder. Instead, use your mining tool to increase your odds of singeing them enough times to make them fall. Now it’s just a matter of finding their point of impact and analyzing their body.
