King of Fighters XIV Has a Story Trailer Now and a Demo Tomorrow

If you’ve been looking forward to Atlus’ King of Fighters XIV, you’re in luck. To kick things off, here’s a brand new trailer for the story, which looks all kinds of crazy.

Second is that there’s a demo coming to the PlayStation Store tomorrow, July 19. The demo will come with seven of the game’s 50 fighters, which Atlus PR manager John Hardin calls “a taste” of what awaits the complete roster. The seven fighters are:

  • Kyo Kusanagi
  • Mai Shiranui
  • Iori Yagami
  • Sylvie Paula Paula
  • King of Dinosaurs
  • Shun’ei
  • Nelson

Atlus also gave a look at the game’s villain, Antonov, which you can see below. He’s bought the King of Fighters brand and has already declared himself the best of the best. So naturally, you and your team have to prove him wrong. Don’t be fooled by his size and his champion belt, though, you can totally take him.

King of Fighters XIV comes to the PS4 on August 23.
