Red Dead Redemption 2 assets have been discovered deep within GTA Online’s newest update, titled The Doomsday Heist.

The files uncovered by Red Dead Network reveal a myriad of items that clearly influence Rockstar’s upcoming game, including a chest inscribed with the name Boles Overland Stagecoach Co. (a company referenced in Red Dead Redemption 2’s trailer) and a golden revolver, the latter of which has a lengthy bit of flavor text associated with it.

The text reads as follows: “Because sometimes revenge is a dish best served six times, in quick succession, right between the eyes. Sign up to the Rockstar Games Social Club to get access to the Double Action Revolver Head Shot Challenge. Beating this challenge will unlock GTA$ and an exclusive variation of the weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2.”

A never-before-seen character model has also been discovered, the likes of which is eloquently named “Dick Head.”

It’s not uncommon for developers to sheath content in regular updates for use at a later time. Rockstar in particular does this quite often, as internet sleuths have datamined and uncovered new information regarding GTA Online for some time now.

It’s possible that there are more clues hidden within the sprawling world of Los Santos that have yet to be discovered. If one thing’s for certain, Rockstar fans will now be looking over every inch of the game if only to discover a sprinkle of new information regarding Red Dead Redemption 2.
