The game tosses players, naked, into a world of deadly animals and the uneasy feeling that almost everything is actively trying to kill you.
The massive open world is similar to that of games like Far Cry 5 and other games in the series, in that it is wild and begging to be explored.
With the way ARK: Survival Evolved pits players against each other, you’ve essentially got 100 Far Cry villains trying to kill you and wear your skin.
There’s a huge variety of wildlife from relatively friendly to actively trying to eat you, something which Far Cry players will be well used to by now. The game has just seen a full release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is on its way to Nintendo Switch.
