Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze is a strange case. When it launched on the Wii U a few years back, it was met with some mixed responses and shaky scores. Moving on to the Tropical Freeze port, it seems like the game has finally managed to redeem itself on the Nintendo Switch. With the addition of the new Funky Mode, players have found a new way to fly by those difficult platforming levels without completely tearing their hair out.

In fact, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze has become such a big hit on the Nintendo Switch that it has sold 1.40 million copies.
