Apart from the collection of cutscene snippets, the explanations of the ArFA-sys was the most prevalent part of the new trailer. It is an AI partner whose appearance and behavior patterns can be customized by the player; this includes what they will prioritize during combat, as well as what expression they will perform when certain things happen. You can also take advantage of its various functions. The trailer describes the banking system as a “definitely… unique” one. You can decide how much of your earnings will be deposited into the ArFA-sys’s bank, which will increase your savings. They can even buy items and weapons for you if you allocate them an allowance.

The trailer also shows off Lisbeth’s Workshop and Agil’s Appraisers. These are two facilities that allow you to upgrade your weapons and have your items appraised, respectively. Asuna’s Outfitters is another facility that allows you to change your outfits, which will also affect your character’s skills and abilities.

The new SBC Flugel area has been introduced in this trailer. It is a new battlefield which, according to the trailer, “ArFA-sys will be deeply involved [in].”

The final minute of the trailer shows a montage of the game’s story, including several great-looking cutscenes.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will release on Feb. 23, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
